My name is Tyler Gilbert, and I am a semi-professional sports and racing photographer specializing in fast-action photography. I focus on capturing high-energy moments from racing events as well as sports such as football, baseball, and soccer. My goal is to freeze moments that happen in a split second and turn them into powerful images that tell a story of speed, intensity, and emotion. I aim to create work that feels alive and brings viewers right into the moment as if they were standing on the field or track. My passion for photography started when I was younger after my mom introduced me to the camera. She quickly became my biggest inspiration and has taught me a lot about patience, creativity, and how to see the world differently through a lens. Learning from her helped me understand that photography is not just about taking pictures, but about capturing memories and moments that matter. Over time, that early interest turned into something much more serious, and I began developing my skills with a strong focus on sports and action photography. As I continued growing, I was also fortunate to learn from Cam Smith, the owner of Youth Sports Productions. He introduced me to videography and helped guide me into expanding my skills beyond photography. Through his mentorship, I have also grown as a sports announcer, which has given me a deeper understanding of storytelling from multiple perspectives. These experiences have helped me improve not just technically, but creatively as well. Today, I work to create professional-level images that athletes, teams, and fans can connect with on a deeper level. I focus on clean composition, sharp timing, and capturing the emotion behind every moment. Whether it is a race on the track or a key play in a game, I want my work to reflect the effort, passion, and energy that athletes put into their sport. My goal is to continue growing as a creator and to build a brand that represents quality, storytelling, and lasting memories through photography.
